Omnichannel Tribe is in the limelight of our ambition of becoming „New Digital Bank“ and KB2025 vision. We are over 200 people in 17 squads, responsible for buidling a seamless client servicing, available through any servicing channel at any time of the day and with unified data and products among all the channels (branches, call-centres and digital channels). Simply „a bank with Netflix-like experience and ease of use”, as Ladislav Šilha, the Tribe Leader, says.

All of this requires building new products, services and processess - and the app ecosystem around them (client-facing, CRM&sales, processing&support, integration etc.). To help us navigate the technology part of this ambition, we are seeking an experienced technology leader.

It is a critical IT leadership position within KB technology organization, that will become the right hand of the Tribe Leader, and an „envoy” of Chief Digital Officer, Margus Simson.

You will be responsible for the overal technical delivery in Omnichannel Tribe (development, delivery & support of all all tribe's SW applications including security and SW architecture), directly managing developers and indirectly other delivery roles.

The main challenges for you will be not only contributing significantly to the „New Digital Bank“ activity on behalf of the Omnichannel Tribe, but also guiding the technology teams of the Tribe to self-organization and ownership.

What you’ll do

  • Proactively solve technical challenges and come up with solutions
  • Create a trustworthy work environment that motivates teams and enables them to use the full range of their technical capabilities and fulfill their potential
  • Grow the team by identifying and recruiting top talents
  • Work with stakeholders across the business and technology to help teams deliver the best products
  • Mentoring teams to grow the team’s technical skills
  • Hold teams accountable for their products and continuous improvement
  • Actively identify delivery risks and work across the organization to mitigate them
  • Forecast budget required to support teams (tools, training, software licenses, etc.)
  • Help the teams to get involved in the KB technology community
  • Implement DevOps culture to the tribe and rest of the organization

Who you’re

You’re a former Developer who grew up to the management a few years ago. You have a passion for servant leadership, agile and DevOps culture. You’re able to listen to others and speak to the point. You’re an open-minded person who wants to do software better.
