Popis pozice

INNOVATE, a leading Software as a Service consortium based in London is looking for talented Senior PHP Developers to join our Prague team. Our development teams focus on creating ingenious solutions to modern problems by creating ultra high end software and apps.

We need skilled Mid/Senior PHP (Laravel, Symfony) Developers to join the development team in Prague who are ready to fit in and start right away on the project, a complex web application for an integrated super app marketplace that provides wider functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Joining a small technical team, you will take ownership of the legacy stack and future architecture of this by suggesting architectural and structural solutions for the project

  • Refactor and restructure the existing project components and completely rewrite components of the project where necessary

  • Develop and implement new features and functions

  • Develop and run automatic tests

Technology stack

  • PHP7, Laravel, Symfony, Lumen
  • Relational Database (MySQL, etc.)
  • Aws
  • Linux
  • NoSQL, TimeLine databases

What we need

  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, although experience would count instead
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in software development in PHP
  • A working knowledge of other languages
  • A solid knowledge of Database query optimization
  • Provable experience building complex business logic
  • A solid grounding in RESTful interfaces
  • Experience in data scraping / extraction / migration
  • Knowledge of API integration, modules
  • Experience with Atlassian stack (Jira, Git, Confluence)
  • Strong knowledge of TDD (Test-driven development)
  • Must have practical experience of CI / CD
  • Good problem solving abilities
  • An intermediate level of English
