We are looking for a talented L2 Database Specialist to join the team at CreditInfo, Prague, who will be responsible for monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting of 100+ MS SQL Server instances in local and client environments. You will work in close collaboration with IT Infrastructure and Database Administrators and Customer Support team to ensure security, performance and overall efficiency of our managed instances that may reach tens of terabytes in size.

Popis pozice

Responsibilities

  • SQL Server monitoring and performance troubleshooting.
  • Supporting clients and internal teams in complex database tasks.
  • Supporting and testing database backup/restore strategies.
  • Supporting and testing of database HA/DR solutions.
  • Assisting the Database Administrators in database management tasks.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of T-SQL
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting
  • 2+ years’ experience with database administration or development on MS SQL Server 2012 and newer
  • Hands-on experience with Always-on Availability Groups
  • Advanced knowledge of T-SQL
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting
  • Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills
  • Great communication skills in English – written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent area
  • Experience with database development is an advantage.
