ETL Developer

This opportunity is for an experienced ETL Developer, who wants to take an exciting new position within a dynamic business in an international insurance company. As part of an established team, you will be working with the Business Intelligence, Data Management and Informatica teams to develop our products. All development is done as part of an in-house, agile Software Engineering team. This role will be primarily remote based but one per week travel for team meetings will be required.

Technical requirements:

• Knowledge of development languages and data structures including ETL: Informatica PowerCenter, DataQuality; Azure Data Factory; Databricks
• Knowledge of data manipulation and frameworks including DB - MSSQL, Oracle, DB2 + PowerExchange
• Understanding of DevOps processes and infrastructure
• Working knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL, DB2 + PowerExchange
• Good knowledge of Azure: Terraform, CI/CD in DevOps (setting up tags and creating structure, coding, configuration)
• Basic level of knowledge of Linux systems (Bash, general knowledge)

Our requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as an ETL developer
• Experience applying best practices in design and software patterns
• Advanced English
• Knowledge of Czech language is an advantage
• Overview of IT technologies used especially in the field of IT systems and architecture
• Knowledge of Git (DevOps), SQL
• Ability to work independently with other teams on migrations
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn with Informatica ETL (Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica DQ).
