Sr. Data Engineer — Prague (Hybrid or Remote, Contract)

You will be designing and maintaining the ETL/ELT pipelines that populate the data lake and data warehouse, working closely with Product Analysts, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers to keep data clean, accessible, and well-modelled.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in Python and Databricks
• Developing data transformation rules and data models to support analytics and reporting
• Implementing data quality checks, maintaining data catalogues, and setting up orchestration, logging, and monitoring
• Collaborating with analysts, data scientists, and ML engineers to make data accessible and understandable
• Applying test-driven development practices and Git-based version control with branching strategies

What we're looking for:

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering
• Strong Python skills with hands-on ETL experience on Databricks
• Solid experience with AWS cloud services
• Spark / PySpark experience (2–3 years minimum), SQL proficiency, Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools
• Nice to have: experience with Microsoft Dynamics, familiarity with data orchestration tools and data catalogue platforms
