Web Platform Backend Developer
We are looking for a new colleague to help us develop and improve our mobile and web platform with focus on the React Native ROUVY Companion app. The app serves as a convenient companion tool for our main training application, enabling users to: - Easily control their ROUVY training sessions from their mobile device. - Track and visualize training progress. - Explore new training routes, workouts, and content. - Stay connected with the ROUVY community and challenges.

What you’ll do
- Implement new product features and improve existing codebase.
- Work on the backend platform for a mobile application.
- Take part in integrating the platform with the mobile application and other related systems.
- Take part in integrating the platform with other parts of ROUVY ecosystem.
How you’ll contribute
- Independently work in a small team.
- Follow company’s and industry best practices and standards.
- Keep the solution up-to-date, performant and technologically state-of-the-art.
- Negotiate cost effective solutions with the product owner and designer(s).
- Participate in cross-team communication.
What we’re looking for
- Experience with Nodejs backend development in industry standard API/Gateway solutions - GraphQL servers such as Yoga or Apollo, RESTful API servers such as Hono, TSOA, ElysiaJS, tRPC, etc.
- Experience with integrating backends into web and/or mobile solutions such as Nextjs or React Native.
- Understanding customer-first approach.
- Professional experience with TypeScript.
- Understanding of DevEx principles in the sense of crafting easy-to-use APIs and contracts.
It’s a plus if you have:
- Fullstack or Frontend development in web and mobile technologies based on React.
- Experience with modern .NET services.
- Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with event-driven (micro)services architecture.
