Python Tech Lead | New generation digital maps

How we work

• We work in 2-week sprints

• We plan development in Jira, as well as individual tasks

• Our applications run in Docker containers, we version Ansible playbooks in Git and keep documentation in Confluence

• Google Workspace is used for electronic communication (Chat, Meet, Email)

• The company's structure is based on the unFIX model, which helps innovation and agile development

What you will do

• Act as the Tech Lead for your team, guiding technical direction and development

• Design the architecture of new solutions, from concept to implementation

• Prepare new REST and GraphQL API structures to integrate with other applications

• Design the structure and models of software databases

• Continuously improve and optimize existing software solutions

• Collaborate closely with the product manager

• Review development tickets and provide feedback to team members

• Help with the first evaluation of new feature ideas 

• Align with the CTO on technical approaches and technology choices for upcoming features

What we expect from you

• 7+ years of experience in software development using Python (ideally Flask) for web applications

• Solid background in designing software architecture

• Skilled in working with databases, particularly PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy

• Familiar with containerization and deployment using Docker

• Mentoring junior developers

• Precision, diligence, and strong organizational skills

• A team player who enjoys collaborating to achieve shared goals

• Strong motivation for self-improvement, learning, and knowledge-sharing

Nice to have

• Experience with C++ development

• Experience with FE development in React 

• Previous experience with Agile

• Interest in maps and cartography
