Popis pozice

Responsibilities:

  • Creation and administration of database systems (MySQL, MariaDB)
  • Configuring and setting up replication
  • Manage database backups, upgrades and tuning
  • Analyze trends and work with development teams to develop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurrence
  • Cooperation in implementing new DB technologies and features in practice

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • 2+ years' professional experience
  • Advanced knowledge of database structure and theory
  • Experience with MySQL Administration, MySQL Query optimization 
  • Experience with MySQL Server optimization, cluster setting and tuning
  • Understanding of code versioning tools
  • Experience with Galera Cluster is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Russian language is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of disaster recovery and database backup procedures
  • Familiarity with reporting tools
