Senior Data / DWH Engineer – Praha | Hybrid

What you'll be doing:

You will fully own the design and development of data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and DWH solutions – from requirement gathering through design, development, and testing to production deployment. You will take part in architectural discussions, write and optimize DBT models, work with FastAPI data layers, and ensure data quality through SQL validations and reconciliation scripts. You will collaborate with both on-site and off-site teams in an Agile environment.

Databases & engines: AWS Athena, Trino, Redshift, PostgreSQL, SQLite Languages: Python, SQL (incl. PL/pgSQL) Tools: DBT, Airflow, FastAPI, PyTest, Qlik Sense, AWS CLI Environment: DWH, OLTP, OLAP, Agile, Jira

What we expect from you:

• Experience with end-to-end data engineering and DWH solutions
• Background in designing data models, data marts, and transformation layers
• Ability to independently manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with Jira
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate within an international team
