Software Engineer – Java EE

We are looking for skilled Java Developer who would be a part of the team responsible for the design and implementation of software components and products, qualification and integration of third party's hardware in the scope of Government Programs (National ID, ePassports, eHealthcare). The products developed span from reusable libraries (hardware connectors, cryptography), desktop applications integrating various hardware (fingerprint scanners, printers, digital cameras) up to high-performance servers.

What is it about:

• Responsible for the design, implementation, and integration of software and hardware components
• Producing all the documentation related to these activities
• Deployment of the complete solution on customer premises worldwide
• Possibility to be also involved in pre-sales activities (technical assistance to the sales team, giving the technical workshop to the customer)

Requirements:

• University graduate (Bc.) in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Very good English
• At least 2 years of work experience in programming (SW Development)
• Very good knowledge of Java EE (EJB, JPA, Hibernate, GWT) and/or Spring
• Knowledge of Web technologies and applications servers (HTTP, HTML, XML, JSP/Servlet, JavaScript, SOAP, WebSphere…
• Good knowledge of database servers - SQL (MS SQL, MySQL), Oracle (PL/SQL)
• Willing to travel on business abroad (1-2 weeks/month) for workshops, integration and deployment in customer premises (occasionally, short/medium duration)

It would be an advantage to have:

• Working knowledge of second programming language C# (C/C++, Python,...)
• Basic knowledge of cryptography (symmetric, asymmetric, PKI ...)
• Knowledge on a smart card, smart card personalization, smart card usage, PC/SC
• Biometric technology (mainly fingerprint) experience
