Head of IT and Security

In this strategic yet varied hands-on role you will be responsible for maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure and support services along with technical solutions. This will involve set up and maintenance of AWS cloud servers, hosting networks, providing application support, network management, desktop support and provisioning all IT equipment used within the business. In addition, you will take an important part in developing the information governance, data protection and cyber security policies. You will lead the IT effort to maintain our ISO9001 accreditation and work alongside our Cyber Security Specialist to attain ISO27001 accreditation, performing audits and updates as required to remain compliant.

Key Technical Responsibilities:

• Delivery and rollout of key strategic IT and quality initiatives
• Develop the IT processes and procedures to retain ISO9001 and attain ISO27001 accreditation
• Develop AWS production cloud and perform ongoing maintenance of AWS development environment
• Research and development of new ideas and technologies to improve the infrastructure, data protection and cyber security
• Vendor management and contract negotiations including competitive pricing and formal procurement processes
• Present information to senior management
• Maintain network management to facilitate secure and efficient communication across our sites and locations
• Perform internal and 3^rd party audits, reporting on and actioning any gaps in line with ISO standards
• Organise and facilitate penetration testing of our business, infrastructure and products
• Be willing to provide support across the business for infrastructure or hardware issues
• Provide training to various levels of the business on tools and processes
