Popis pozice

We are looking for an experienced programmer to join our team and help us to develop and maintain multi-threaded distributed applications with an emphasis on scalability and performance. Build APIs (GraphQL, gRPC, REST) for internal and external applications and services.

 

Duties:

  • Create internal tools and enhance our in-house applications and services.
  • Participate in code reviews for your own code and conduct code reviews for other team members.
  • Utilize cloud and serverless technologies (AWS).
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and practices in an ever-evolving landscape.
  • As a senior developer you should be self-reliant and capable of handling complex issues.

 

Must-have:

  • At least 3 years of experience with object/functional programming.
  • Knowledge of Golang (we'll teach you it if you do not know it).
  • Solid experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and iterative environment.
  • Work in a team where you will share knowledge and support other team members.
  • Working in a time zone plus minus 2 hours from CET

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Go/Rust/Kotlin/Scala/Java/C++.
  • Experience with multi-threaded applications implementation.
  • Experience with distributed systems.
  • Experience with reactive systems design.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB, MongoDB.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka.
  • Familiarity with API design in GraphQL or gRPC.
  • Knowledge of AWS and Terraform.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools.
  • You are familiar with Agile development.
